AMANDA CLARDY, Allied Member ASID is a professional interior designer. After pursuing an Art Degree, Amanda worked for Crestview Builders, in Naperville, IL as a Selection Coordinator. There she assisted homeowners in implementing interior and exterior selections for thier new construction homes. After two hundred homes, she was inspired to complete her bachelor's degree, at Ray College of Design, a premier interior design school in Chicago. With her degree, she managed an upholstery furniture showroom in the Chicago Merchandise Mart. From there she relocated in Breckenridge,CO where she put on a tool belt and worked in all the building trades. While rafting the Grand Canyon she met her husband, together they moved to Red Lodge to start a family. For the last ten years she has worked independently as a Designer. In the year 2006, Jane became a part of Independent Interiors, Inc.


JANE ENGEBRETSON, wife and mother of three, grew up in North Dakota. There she pursued an education in the art program at North Dakota State University. Soon thereafter, she was employed by Silverman's (a chain of retail clothing stores) as a Visual Merchandiser; incorporating furniture, fabric and artwork throughout her displays. The year 2000 brought change and a move to Red Lodge, Montana. Utilizing her talent, retail experience, people skills and art background, Jane was employed by the local furniture and interior design firm, Kibler and Kirch, until 2005. In 2006, she joined Amanda Clardy to complete their vision for Independent Interiors. Together they encompass all facets of design and decorating.
